Challenge

Splash e Spa tasked Gonnado with selling additional tickets in a targeted manner through online marketing, with the aim of gaining more customers particularly from neighboring Italy. Because Splash e Spa sells over 90% of its tickets at the entrance, sales are to be measured using mobile coupons. In addition, newsletter signups are to be boosted.

Solutions

Gonnado reached the defined target groups with Google Ads and Facebook Ads. New customers were targeted with Search Ads and Prospecting Ads. Website visitors were also encouraged to visit Splash e Spa with Onsite layers and Retargeting Ads. The promotion offered a 20% discount voucher as an incentive, which customers could show on their mobile phones at the ticket booth. By measuring the success with the coupons, the online measures could be optimized accordingly.

Results

The number of sales achieved by Splash e Spa through online marketing increased by 85%. Compared to online tickets, the cost per sale could be reduced by 70%. Since all participants in the promotion also registered for the newsletter, many newsletter registrations were simultaneously generated. Overall, the promotion achieved a very attractive ROI of 34x.
