BERSAN Automotive Switzerland AG is the official importer for Hyundai in Switzerland – where over 8,000 new Hyundai vehicles are registered every year.
A good 70% of all car buyers use the internet to research the vehicle they want. However, around three quarters require a test drive before buying. And practically all car purchases are ultimately not made online, but in the local car dealership. Hyundai Switzerland used Gonnado’s solutions to measure and optimize the test drives and car purchases generated by marketing measures.
The test drive is an important step in the buying process for a new vehicle and in this phase customers are particularly open to new information about current vehicles and offers. Hyundai regularly uses sweepstakes to gain more leads for test drives. For the launch of a new model, Hyundai used Gonnado’s tools to offer a sweepstake for more test drives and to measure which measures generate the highest number and quality of leads.
Gonnado’s tools were used to capture leads on numerous channels, such as in the car dealerships, on the website, in print mailings, newsletters and through online advertising. Hyundai has also relied on Gonnado’s programmatic advertising to identify and advertise to the target groups with the greatest likelihood of performing a test drive and purchasing a car. As a result, Hyundai has increased the number of leads compared to comparable releases of new models by around 25% and gained exciting new insights.
